Samsung Galaxy Player to challenge Apple iPod Touch

This year in International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which is a major technology-related trade show held each January in the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada will witness a whole new breed from Samsung which is about to roll out its latest personal media player next week. This latest player from Samsung shares its tech with its brother Galaxy Tab (Android 2.2, front rear cameras).

Here are the features for this much awaited gadget –
1. The 9.8mm-thin device will be available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities.
2. 4-inch 800×480-pixel touchscreen.
3. 1 GHz processor.

However we have not heard anything on the pricing front, but we think it will be on the lines of Apple’s iPod touch just as the Samsung Galaxy Tab did the iPad.

So now we have a open battle between Apple iPod Touch and Samsung Galaxy Player, lets see hour fierce it turns out to be. Stay tuned to WiredCPU for more.
