Meego is the name of new upcoming smartphone OS from Nokia. Nokia will be releasing some new phone’s which will be based on the Meego OS and which proves that Nokia is heading in the right direction. After using the same old symbian UI and OS, its definitely time to move on. And after seeing its market share being eaten by companies like Apple and flood of Android based phones, Nokia should be sprinting towards MeeGo. Recently a video was released showing some of the UI goodness of Meego, video can be found embedded below :

From the looks of the prototype it sure looks very promising, but we have to wait and see how it preforms when it comes out with a hardware. We will be seeing lots of news around MeeGo in coming months, which I will be gladly sharing here. Also do check out some screenshots of Symbian OS 4, which might be coming to Nokia handsets as well.
