Google Takeout which allows you to export your data from several Google products in one simple download. Currently Takeout supports mass exodus from Buzz, Contacts and Circles , Picasa Web Albums, your Profile, and Stream. Google Takeout lets you take your data out of multiple Google products in one fell swoop. Moreover, you’ll find that all your data is in portable and open formats‚ so it’s easy to import to other services quickly.
If you want export data without the help of Google Cloud Export (opensource, free,Windows XP, Windows Vista , Windows 7) is a Windows app that will back up everything for you. Cloud Export will, once you’re logged in to your Google account, download your contacts, Gmail, Reader subscriptions, Blogger entries, and more and store them all locally. The supported accounts for importing data include Gmail, Google Contacts, Google Reader, Picasa, Google Health, Google Finance, Google Talk, Google Docs, Twitter: RSS, Identi.ca/StatusNet: RSS, IMAP account, Jabber, and OFX (Financial Institutions). Cloud Export supports multiple accounts, but it doesn’t allow you to run regular backup jobs.
How to use Cloud Export
#1 Click Settings option.
#2 Enter your account credentials.
#3 Select the online service from which you wish to extract data.
#4 Select your option from number of displayed web services.
#5 Specify destination directory to save your data from Options (default is C:\Users\Username\exported).
#6 Click Backup All Accounts to start downloading your data.
#7 All data will be saved in separate folders in convenient categories. (Picasa albums will be saved within a folder named Picasa, with separate sub-folders for your saved images, profile picture, and scrapbook photos.)
