After showing off its might last year CES, Notion Ink makes another impressive splash at this year's CES as well. Engadget did a detailed review and was left impressed : We'll admit, we're pleasantly shocked at how much Notion Ink was able to do with its Adam tablet. While the Eden UI does seem confusing to us and the software isn't completely finished in our minds, it's an incredibly different take on Android for tablets, which is exactly what we've needed in the past year. Just in time before CES 2011 where RIM's playbook might be making a big splash, showing off its cool features, here is one more video showcasing its Multimedia, Games and Social Networking capabilities : The tablet is impressive, if RIM supports it with good hardware which I think they will, they have a good iPad competitor here.
Coming this CES, Opera will be demonstrating their new tablet specific browser. Opera didn't release much details about what all this new browser will bring to table but released a short preview video showing the browser in action on Galaxy Tab : Will keep a tab on it and see how this one plays out, seeing how the tablet market is exploding it makes sense to have a dedicated browser. via
Samsung has reached the goal of selling over 10 million Galaxy S phones worldwide, that too in less than seven months since the device was unveiled in the market. That is about one unit for every two seconds it's been on sale :). According to Samsung Tomorrow, North America contributed the most with 4 million in sales, followed by Europe at 2.5 million.
Notion Ink gives us some more to look at with the new video released showcasing the Eden UI in their tablets. Pretty sure they will be making a big splash in CES 2011 like last year. I hope they live up to the expectation and get that ordering system of theirs fixed(since it will be a flood of people buying the amazing tablet after seeing it in action :-) ) : You can check out few more videos in the post.
