Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com, and Federated Media have teamed up to give WordPress’s millions of users the ability to place ads on their blogs. The partnership, which the two companies announced at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, will allow brands and advertisers to target participating WordPress.com site owners in order to reach the audiences that are relevant to them.
