RIM just released their tablet called “The Playbook” which has been living in the rumour since iPad release. The initial pre-reviews have been positive and the 7 inch tablet is packing a decent configuration under its hood. Is this the RIM answer to iPad, well it seems like so. RIM will count on the portable size(7?inch) and impressive specs to promote it as business tablet as it has been doing with it Blackberry smartphone line, which I must add is still commands a lion’s share in the US smartphone industry. Although iOS and Android based devices are eating into its dominance and RIM will try to counter that using their newly launched Blackberry OS 6 and now the Playbook.

Well there are multiple ways to get attention to what you are promoting, one is to do something impressive other is to do something pretty stupid to get people talking. So, when you see a Google Mobile promotion video showing a guy speaking "Pizza" for a good 10 mins you being to think it can't be impressive :-D . Till now if you wanted to upload pictures to your flickr account, sending them through email was the only way on your Android phone. But now Flickr has rolled out an update which will allow users to upload pictures from the browser itself. So, from today if you navigate to m.flickr.com from your Android 2.2 phone, you will see a upload button. Just tap and choose the file from your gallery which you want to upload and its done.
