Google adds Islamic prayer times in search results

Google Arabia in its blog post announced that Google's most recent localized feature for Muslims which provides City specific Islamic Prayer Times highlighted immediately in the results page. Muslims pray 5 times a day according to the position of the sun in the sky, which means times shift throughout the year according to the change in the day’s duration. Initially, this feature will be available on all ranges for searches in English and Arabic. This technique is available for use by religious institutions, whatever their faith, but in practice they may be more appropriate to the traditions of Muslim prayer.

PepsiCo's Social Vending System is a state-of-the-art networked unit that features full touch screen interactive vending technology, enabling consumers to better connect with PepsiCo brands right at the point of purchase. A prototype of the Social Vending System will debut at the National Automatic Merchandising Association's One Show in Chicago, April 27-29. You need to select a drink enter the recipient’s name, mobile number and personalized text message with a code redeemable at another vending machine. Consumers can personalize the message with a short video recorded by the machine. There’s also an option to send a free beverage to a stranger.
